Privacy policy

Festara is made by Obsonator AB, [registered address, Sweden], organisation number [org. nr]. This page says what we collect when you use Festara, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Your email address and first name, when you make an account. We use them to sign you in with a code and to call you by name.
• Whether you have bought Festara, so the days you paid for stay open on every phone you sign in on.
• Your interests, who you plan for and the kids' age range, saved days and shopping lists. Today these live only on your device. If we later sync them to your account, we will say so here first.
• Anonymous usage statistics: which pages are opened and how fast they load, through Vercel Analytics. No cookies, no profile of you.
• Anonymous steps through Festara, on the website and in the app, through Umami: for example that a day was opened, an idea added to a plan or a plan shared, with the day and idea names. No cookies, and never your name, email or account.
• Shared plans: when you share a plan, we keep the day and the ideas you picked under the link, so the person you send it to can open it. Nothing about who shared it.
• Error reports if something breaks, through Sentry, stored in the European Union. They contain the page and the error, not your content.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your details with anyone except the services below that run Festara for us.

Who helps us run Festara

• Supabase stores accounts and content, in the European Union.
• Resend sends the sign-in code emails.
• Vercel hosts the app and collects the anonymous statistics above.
• Sentry receives error reports, in the European Union.
• Umami collects the anonymous steps above.
• [Payment provider, once chosen] handles payments. We never see your card number.

How long we keep it

Your account stays until you ask us to delete it. Error reports and statistics are kept for [90 days].

Your rights

In the app, Profile has Download my data, which saves a copy of everything we hold about you and everything Festara keeps on your phone, and Delete account, which removes your account straight away. Deleting also removes your purchase.

You can also ask us for a copy, a correction or a deletion. Write to hello@obsonator.com and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Children

Festara is made for parents. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has made an account, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
